PURPOSE AND DATA We use the organisation and contact person details submitted through this form to handle an expression of interest in joining Focus Europe, respond and explain the network and membership process. Data include organisation name and type, town and country, the contact person’s first name, last name, position and email, any telephone number and message, submission date and record of consent. Our secretariat may add operational notes about contacts with the representative. LEGAL BASIS AND PROVISION OF DATA This processing relies on the consent given through the form checkbox (Article 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679). You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting the controller, without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. Required fields allow us to identify the organisation and respond; without them we cannot handle the request through this form. Telephone number and message are optional. You can also contact us using the details published on the website. Submitting the form does not automatically enrol you as a member or subscribe you to newsletters. RECIPIENTS AND PROCESSING Requests are accessible to authorised Focus Europe staff through a restricted area. Hosting and technical support providers may access data as necessary to deliver their services under the applicable arrangements. Data are not published or publicly disclosed. We do not profile applicants or make automated decisions on requests. On request, the controller provides details about service providers and any transfers to third countries, including applicable safeguards. RETENTION For this expression-of-interest stage, data are retained as necessary to respond and for no more than 12 months from the request, unless you request erasure or withdraw consent earlier. A subsequent formal membership process will be accompanied by information about the corresponding processing. Hosting backups and technical logs may be retained according to service terms and periods, which the controller must verify and explain where applicable. YOUR RIGHTS You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and, where applicable, data portability. You may withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the competent supervisory authority.
